12 Dec to 19 Dec. Ski trip to Korea

13 Dec 2010 - Korea

We've arrived!!! Incheon International Airport
First thing I saw was baseball on TV.
Kraze...
This should have been a tourist stop. I would've loved to have spent an hour inside
View from the window... before they fogged up.
Korean Ginseng Chicken Restaurant. How doth one spell OVERRATED?
It puts the noodles in the soup...
No, its not dandruff... Our first snow flake...
Old Korean houses
KimChi was made in those vessels...
Ice Ice Baby...
Street food. The sticks (on the left) had some kind of fish cakes, cooked in stock. It was pretty good. Lovely on a cold day.
The underground shopping centre. The stuff wasn't terribly cheap and practically every shop sold the same stuff.
KAL hotel lobby.
The dreaded KimChi...
That's what Koreans eat at home. Stewed pork belly, egg and fried fish.
Supposedly, there are more than 2000 varieties of KimChi in Korea. I've tried all of 4.
Nanta... AWESOME SHOW!!!!
There were some funky old school stuff at the Nanta theatre. I loved this old school projector.
My real dinner. Instant noodles, unidentifiable meat on sticks and Soju

14 Dec 2010 - Teddy Bears

View of Jeju City from the KAL Hotel
The Tangerine Orchard and the Jeju God standing watch
View from the peak
There were dunkin donuts everywhere. I didn't try a single one. The queue is for the fantastic grilled squid.
Yeah, I can't read it
Canola Flowers
Black Pig Pork Belly
Wrapped in a fresh lettuce leaf, with chilli paste and a slice of raw garlic
Yetjeongui Gol
Traditional Jeju Village
There was this black pig kept in the village. It would fall over and sleep when it's side was rubbed. Too funny.
Go-Carting.

The Teddy Bear Museum
Mr and Mrs Bear???
Bear Jordan? or Air Bear?
Elvis Bear? or Bear Presley?
E=mcBeared
This bear cost $200,000USD... or did it have 200,000 karats of diamonds sewed on... One or the other, I don't remember
Korean Drama fans will recognise this bear.
