Day 5 : 5/6 Oct 2014 - Time to go Home

All good things must come to an end. The wedding party lasted till 5am sunday(I only lasted till 3), and then there was still brunch in the morning. I don't know how they do it. I honestly don't remember much of the day. Except that all the supermarkets were closed and I was not able to buy all the stuff I was leaving to the last minute. Note to self, next time do all the shopping on a weekday instead of waiting for the weekend. Most shops are closed on Sunday in France.

Dinner was at the chalet rented by Amelie's family. I got to try more cheese, and a wonderful gift of canned duck confit (which I had wanted to buy at the supermarket)

Both June and I had afternoon flights out of Geneva. I had told her about CERN, and she was very enthused about visiting it. So we planned to leave the hotel early in the morning, visit CERN before heading to the airport for her to return her car.

(note to self. If you fly through CDG, buy the fricking Nikka From the Barrel. You can't find it anywhere else)

The lovely street leading up to the chateau.

Doesn't it look a lot like Christmas?

Bye Geneva. I hope to see you again sometime soon.
