Day 6 : 21 Oct

Meiji Shrine

The Princesses Tea House. I know I've taken so many photos of this place. But I would love to imagine sitting in that place drinking tea while watching the pond. So calming.

It actually says Harajuku Champs-Élysées

Staircase into a wall.

The very limited menu. They do one thing, and they do that one thing very very well.

REAL, freshly grated wasabi

Omelette with freshly grated radish

The star of the event, Soba.

These were not the droids I was looking for

Quiet please. Cat meeting in progress.

The munchkin with different coloured eyes.

The sweet Norwegian Forest Kitten

The little Bengal I was sweet on.

AWWWWWWW

AWWWWWWWW

Gyoza

The picture says it all.

The craft beer place was above a lingerie shop called 'Hanky Panky'

The secret place's starter, crackers on honey, cream cheese with freshly cracked black pepper. I'm going to try this recipe.

Asparagus wrapped in bacon

Garlic shoots wrapped in bacon, mushrooms wrapped in bacon

More (and different) mushrooms wrapped in bacon

Leeks wrapped in bacon

Chicken wrapped in bacon. Do you see why I love this place so much?
They actually had a secret sauce which I didn't photograph that you dipped the kushiyaki. The sauce was fantastic. It was a miso based sauce cooked with spices. Slightly spicy, tangy, umami and savoury all at the same time. They sold the sauce, and I was tempted to buy some home.
